The steering shaft touches the exhaust pipes but it always did. The pipe that causes the problem will be cut off and re welded in a slightly different degree of inclination.

There is about 5mm between exhaust pipes and chassis.

It’s a very tight fit. There is 5mm play between the oil sump and the steering rack.


There’s a bit less play between exhaust pipe and sub frame but it should be all right.

I’m very pleased with the result and as a bonus it didn’t cost me a penny.
